Customizing templates

After selecting a template, everything is editable:

  • Text - Click any text block to edit copy
  • Colors - Change background, button, and text colors to match your brand
  • Images - Upload your own or use the stock image library
  • Buttons - Customize label, URL, color, and border radius
  • Layout - Drag blocks to reorder, add/remove sections
  • Footer - Auto-includes unsubscribe link (required by law)

Save as template

Create reusable templates from any campaign:

  1. Design your email in the campaign builder
  2. Click Save as Template
  3. Give it a name and optional description
  4. Find it in your My Templates tab next time

💡 Tip: Create a branded master template with your logo, colors, and footer. Use it as the base for every campaign to maintain consistency.

AI content generation

Grivo's AI writer can generate email content inside any template:

  • Subject lines - Generate 3–5 options and pick the best one
  • Body copy - Describe what you want to say and the AI writes the draft
  • CTAs - Get button text suggestions that drive clicks

The AI uses your website content (trained via your chatbot) to write on-brand copy automatically.

Best practices

  • Keep emails focused - one primary CTA per email
  • Use a clear, recognizable sender name (e.g., "Anna from Grivo")
  • Test on mobile before sending - over 60% of emails are opened on phones
  • Keep subject lines under 50 characters for best open rates
  • Always include an unsubscribe link (Grivo adds this automatically)
